Today is 21C in Taiwan, it is cloudy. I am watching a movie " Julie & Julia" , I have so much feeling about this movie, it's really a good movie. I really love Meryl Streep.  I decide to write my blog like my dairy, I want to write about  anything not just tea , and share to the readers and followers.

First , my English is not very good. please forgive that **, But I love English, I love it!  , I am brave, isnt it? After all, it is a adventure for me.


I have a question , what will you do if you feel stressed? how to take it easy? I felt stressed these days. What did I do ? I went to the gym , not exercising, I enjoyed  the hot shower and spa. Also I had some cups of Oriental beauty , this is true. Because I like to have them with the caramel pudding. This is a little happiness in my hand. oh, by the way, I have a friend, she is very very busy, she likes to watch cartoons to relax. I think she is very cute.

**Dongfang Meiren ,Oriental Beauty or Baihao , also marketed as White Tip Oolong or Champagne Oolong,  is a heavily oxidized, non-roasted, This tea has natural fruity aromas and produces a sweet-tasting liquor, bright reddish-orange in color, without any bitterness

Dongfang meiren is the chhiⁿ-sim tōa-phàⁿ (青心大冇) cultivar grown without pesticides to encourage a common pest, the tea green leafhopper (Jacobiasca formosana), to feed on the leaves, stems, and buds.

These insects suck the phloem juices of the tea stems, leaves, and buds, which leads to the tea plant's production of monoterpene diol and hotrienol that give the tea its unique flavor

The buds then turn white along the edges which gives the tea its alternate name, white tip oolong. The insect bites start the oxidation of the leaves and tips and add a sweet note to the tea.

The tea is only harvested in the middle of summer, only about 40%–50% of the leaves can be used, and the harvest is susceptible to drought. Therefore, the annual yield is low and the price is relatively high

the tea is heavily oxidized (around 70%), approaching the level of black tea.

**Dong Ding also spelled Tung-ting  and is the name of the mountain in Taiwan where the tea is cultivated.

The mountain is located in the Lugu region of Nantou County in central Taiwan, Dong Ding is typically composed of 3-4 leaves,

a medium-roasted oolong that undergoes repeated slow roasting over a period of days.

Harvest: spring 2017

Oxidation Level: 30%

Roasting Level: Medium

Baozhong tea

Wenshan Baozhong teas growing areas are Wenshan District and Nangang District in Taipei City, also Shenkeng District, Shindien District, Pinglin District, Shiding District and Xizhi District in New Taipei City. The elevation of tea gardens is above 400 meters mountains.

 Baozhong is also called Pouchong.Baozhong, Oriental Beauty tea,DongDing Oolong tea   and the Taiwan mountain tea are known as the four specialty teas in Taiwan.  Baozhong is fermentation tea, its fermentation degree is about 8 to 12%,Containing more antioxidants,antimutagenic properties and tea catechins.making Baozhong tea because it is loose cords, so should pay attention to the amount of brewing tea not to put too less,for having the performance of the tea aroma, preferably with a fast heat conduction and airtight white porcelain tea brewing appropriate, brewing temperature between 90 ° C to 100 ° C preferred.The appearance of Baozhong tea is curly strip and in deep green color.
